Motorcycling Australia’s Acting CEO, Andrew Weiss, would like to release the following statement regarding the recent fatality at Phillip Island.
“On behalf of Motorcycling Australia I would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of the man who tragically lost his life at Phillip Island on Monday,” Weiss said.
“Though not an MA event, the death of any rider inevitably affects the entire motorcycling community, especially following on so soon from one of the major events on the motorcycling calendar - the Australian round of the 2010 World Superbike Championship.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends during this difficult time.”
