Monty beat me to it.
Jordy enjoy your chequebook racing buddy.
Again your just jealous that its not you or your kid who who has these opportunities. There are quite a few other young riders whose fathers or supporters are buying them rides overseas next year as well, would you like to have a go at them too?
In reality, what is happening is that the ASBK has become that expensive to compete in and the returns in value for money are that low that for many people going racing overseas is a more cost effective and attractive option. People who have raced in the ASBK this year have told me it will cost them over 200k to compete in either the Superbikes or Pro-Stock class next year and they aren't prepared t o spend that money when there are better options overseas and really you can't blame them. This is exactly what I said would happen if MA didn't curb the costs of going racing but since my time they have let the costs sky rocket rather then find ways to keep the racing affordable and competitive.
That speaks more of how the ASBK is being run then these peoples decisions to race OS.
Its time to get off of Jordy's and the other young riders cases I believe.
