I would love to see your forum system modified to require authors to submit an email address (which can remain anonymous), and both Christian and surname for security and legitimacy.
Like everyone else, I like the feedback from other racers and people in the industry on subjects that are important to us and stories from what the guys are up to. Unfortunately, if we have to keep reading comments such as the nonsence that appears under the story here, eventually we simply won't bother as there are far more important things to do with our time.
I love this site and this series, let's keep it tidy and professional.
PS - Great news for Jordan regarding AMA. He's a great rider that had some bad luck with injury this year, looking forward to seeing him bounce back in 2011.
in reality this what is written here is just the same as is being spoken in the pits and in private by some people. I myself have had a number of people pass negative comments about 'rich riders' which I don't mind admitting I think is terribly wrong.
Whether people like to admit it or not this sight actually provides a more accurate picture of what many people are thinking because they feel free to have their say because no one knows who they are, so they can't be judged by their comments. The difference here is rather then the negative scuttle butt going unchecked reasonable people get a chance to have their say in return and provide balanced view points. There are at present more comments telling the knockers to grow up and get a life then there are the jealous negative comments. To me that is a huge positive and one that shows while there are some envious individuals out there there are many more reasonable people.
This thread because of its direction also allows for a discussion on the bigger picture of why its more attractive for a growing number of racers to go racing OS then to stay and race in the ASBK. The riders who are packing and leaving in general are not FX-Superbike competitors they are ASBK regular's. This is not good for the ASBK and I wonder if anyone there is paying attention.
Open and frank discussion is a really good thing but sometimes it brings out the worst in people however that is occasionally the price that is paid to have these often needed open discussions .
