terry most of the top riders are from the asbk so that is way they have more riders going overseas then ur series . there is only a small small number of riders in fx that are at a riding level that could go ride overseas . there is nothing wrong with the asbk it is an australian championship that goes all over the country so it does coast money .
Most competitors who race in the AFXC or FX-Superbikes worked out quite a while ago that it costs on average a fraction of what it costs to race in the ASBK and you also get much more racing and much better TV. The thing is the ASBK has become that expensive to compete if your a Superbike or Superstock 1000 competitor that racing in the US is now a very affordable option and a number of racers are taking up that option.
