I don't get the bitching in racing circles in this country because somebody is prepared to kick the tin for themselves to go racing?

Isn't that in fact what every rider does who turns up with his bikes in his trailer behind his car at a race meeting, paying his own way, and at the end of the day, how many riders would we have on a grid if the only legitimate way to participate is via a fully funded ride provide by [insert motorcycle manufacturers name]???

Also, if the articles on Moto2 are half true, it is almost the rule that you must bring "your own" money to the team if you want a ride.

These negative comments stink of a bit of handle bar envy!!!!
