Darren, I think Mr Observer's point is right. Only official times count because when an official time is taken all riders are riding on the same track conditions etc and it is not open to any manipulation or variances in measuring devices. It also stops people falsly claim to have done something they have not, not saying that is what you have done. I agree on your point that name calling is unnecessary but really your claimed time can not count.
