Richard this argument that you put about not being an Australian championship because it doesn't go to all States has been put many times before. I understand where you are coming from but alas the argument is flawed. Many Australian Chamionships in various sports are decided on either a single round or a few selcted rounds for that sport. Our own MA supported Australian Historic Motorcycle Championships are decided at a single event each year. Granted it is shared about by the States in some rotational format, but to say that because the title is not contested in every State dilutes the status of the event does not do justice to past champions like Giles, Stuaffer, Allerton, Ferguson, Waters, Curtain et al.
