2017 Extensive TV Package Announced

2017 Series TV

The Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship will once again provide to its competitors and sponsors an extremely impressive package of electronic media coverage in 2017 to promote themselves and their products, with each and every class receiving an unequalled opportunity to share in both the national and international tv coverage that the SWANN SUPER SERIES delivers.

To make sure we provide series competitors with the most affordable high profile racing series in the country the SWANN SUPER SERIES has been compressed into three huge weekends of racing action with both Saturday and Sunday at each event being separate rounds in this year’s six round SWANN SUPER SERIES. These changes which were implemented to reduce costs for competitors has not meant there is a cut back on the series electronic media exposure with all of the racing on both the Saturday and Sunday at each of the three-weekend double header six round series being shown live on MotorsportsTV.

This means all six days of racing will be shown live and every race in the series will be able to be watched here in Australia and around the globe on MotorsportsTV and via websites and Facebook, this will add up to around thirty-six hours of live coverage.
Add in that each of the six days of racing will receive three x one hour nationally televised shows on both the free to air SBS Speedweek show with an equal number of hours of coverage on Fox Sports throughout the year, giving the series eighteen hours of both free to air and pay tv coverage on both SBS and FOX.

To top it off both the premier Superbike and Supersport one hour shows from each round will also be shown overseas throughout Europe and North America, which provides an excellent platform to assist young Australian riders in getting noticed overseas.
